This half-smoke better be fucking my face with flavor to be worth this mess.

Basically, a professional video guy Chase Heavener of Northern Lights turned his vacation movies into a music video for independent band Washed Out without seemingly being asked or paid to do it. Pitchfork Media was the first site that it popped up on (then Rolling Stone) but I first saw it on the Chase Heavener's blog. The music's cool but the video he made with it is awesome. It's not complicated, it's just SO WELL DONE. Now I'm thinking of seeing the band at the DC9 on March 11th. Here's Washed Out's MySpace page.

I just checked out pictures from Worldwide dog racing on Boston's Big Picture. Reading the comments section, I realized there is a debate between nutcases who say the dog racers are mean and don't love their dogs and everyone else who says the dogs are bred to work, love doing it, and that the dog owners treat their dogs like cherished family. I liked seeing the interplay between commentors who were making their arguments based on emotion or reaction and the ones who were commenting back based on fact.

Paige's bathroom sink heated Trader Joe's Indian cuisine! Looks delicious and somewhat clinical. She's saving all the per diem she gets while on business in the City of Angels!

One is to cook the perfect omellette. Below I add olive oil to onion, asparagus and mushrooms. Then I seasoned with thyme and parsley. Eggs were cooked in butter. The sauce on top is wonderful Sriracha.
